Just a Dream...
You guys, everytime I hear this song on the radio - I cry. I mean, tears spilling out and dripping onto my shirt. It breaks my heart. It's so tender. Carrie's vocal performance is heartfelt and emotional yet strong. It strikes a chord in my heart. It makes me want to go home to my sweetheart and give him lots of hugs and kisses! It helps me realize how much I love him and how my heart would ache if I couldn't hold him. I am so grateful to have the love I have. I ache to grow old with him and be sweethearts throughout eternity! If you haven't heard it - find a moment, and just listen. Those dang country singers just know how to get me! (Have you heard Martina McBride's "Concrete Angel"? There's another one!).

Concrete angel has always been a tear jerker for me. also Whiskey Lullaby... it's like the country version of romeo and juliet. sigh. So melancholy but beautiful.
The first time I heard Concrete Angel was when I also saw in for the first time, saw the video of it. Man talk about cry baby! That one gets me every time to.
I am the same way with Just a dream. What makes it harder is that my cousin's husband is in the military in Iraq and so evertime I hear it, I think of her and her husband!
