Loved it. Rise of the Evening Star is #2 of the Fablehaven series, by Brandon Mull. It has fantasy (faeries! I love 'em!), adventure and great lessons on choices and growing up! If you enjoy the fantasy genre, (Say, Harry Potter or Twilight) you will enjoy this easy-read. The way it left off, I can't wait to get my hands on Book 3, Grip of the Shadow Plaque.
I wont give it away, because I, personally, enjoyed it much more not hearing anything about it. But you'll definitely want to start with Book 1. Go for it!
