Blogging Funk

bloggingfunk

Somehow. I have nothing interesting or of significance to say today! How can that be?! Nothing has sparked my interest to the point of having  to share it, the DH and I are doing great and have no drama or "learning experiences" to report... my children are healthy (finally!!!) and relatively happy... I still have a "to do" list a mile long and I'm slowly chipping away at it, but we are trying to be more frugal and resourceful and not spend any $$ on unnecessary stuff... not even a trip to the DI. But seeing as we have to move in the next 2ish weeks anyway, I'm not exactly in the mood to decorate my home.

(Insert: We recently learned (in the past 5 days) that the townhome we are living in (renting) is going to be auctioned on May 10th. So we've been "house"-hunting. It pretty much sucks.)

Well, I did just think of something. My 2-year-old has been on a Ratatouille kick the past 2 weeks - ish. We have watched it at least once a day. Well, yesterday he was yelling "Shut. Up!" It took me a second to realize he had learned it from Remmy, our friendly rat with a great sense of smell who loves to cook. Yah. Thanks, Disney!! As if this kid needs one more thing  to get him into trouble!

Is this funk contagious? I feel like I have it too. I'm sorry to hear that you have to pick up and move. That is really a bummer.

Sometimes no news is good news, right?

The kids movies aren't even any good anymore!

I remember my son yelling "shut-up, stupid dog!" when the dog was barking (he was 2)...he got it from Toy Story!

What happened to the good old days when kid's movies were for kids...not adults!?

I'm sorry to hear about your townhome...I'm wishing you the best in your search for a new place!
