A Letter to You

My baby thinks he's David Beckham.

My son has been brain-washed. My. His. Daddy.

This kid is two and he thinks, breathes and would eat soccer if he could. Ahem. I mean football. If you know DH, he's the same way. What gives? I mean, don't get me wrong, I enjoy soccer football.  But I knew I was in trouble this morning when I was dressing Monkey for the day and he insisted on wearing his soccer jersey. He's two for pete's sake! AND he's a BOY! I thought only girls were supposed to be so darn picky. Then again, he is his daddy's son!

(The jersey he's wearing in these pictures is a custom made jersey with his name on it, sent to him by my parents.) Ha. Oh yah, and you should see him when his "Scottish Mullet" all styled. Maybe my baby doesn't necessarily think he's Beckham... but his dad does.

Cute, cute, cute! I had a daughter that lived and breathed soccer...even cut her hair completely off. A real tomboy.

This cracks me up because my 2 year old is the same way. I can get him to wear other clothes but if he sees a shirt with a soccer ball on it or his soccer jersey or cleats.... he'll be wearing them for sure. He's a fan of soccer, football, basketball, and baseball. Thankfully Provo Parks and Rec has a 3 year old league that he can play in in the fall. Phew! :)
