(not entirely) Wordless Wednesday

IMG_9659-1-S

I miss home. Melia (plumerias) are my favorite flower in the whole-wide world. The smell, the look - it's perfect. At our wedding reception, (because we didn't end up getting married at home), the only thing I needed were plumerias. My mom brought them over and it made everything perfect. There was a trail of plumerias from the entry door to the room we had our reception in... they were on the table, I had a thick plumeria lei, and they were in my bouquet! I loved it.

I love plumerias, too! We have a plumeria growing in our backyard, but I think we are overwatering it since it's not blooming this year

That is a beautiful photo! I would miss those flowers too if they weren't around when they use to be.

Ahh, the sweet smell of plumerias. I love them! Although my allergies don't always. I rode home on a plane once from Hawaii sneezing all the way because of all the leis on the plane. However, Hawaii remains my most favorite place on earth.
